1. Age Criteria for Entry Level Classes is as follows:
Class MINIMUM AGE MAXIMUM AGE
For Pre-School (Nursery) 03 years as on 31 March 2020 Less than 04 years as on 31 March of the year in which the admission is sought.
For Pre-Primary (KG) 04 years as on 31 March 2020 Less than 05 years as on 31 March of the year in which the admission is sought.
For Class-1st 05 years as on 31 March 2020 Less than 06 years as on 31 March of the year in which the admission is sought.

Note:

  • The age relaxation of upto 30 days may be granted at the level of Head of School in the maximum as well as minimum age limit for Nursery & Prep, Class-I as per circular no. DE.23.(363)/ Sch.Br./2016/1553 dated 19.09.2016. However a request letter for the same should be sent to the school through an email at nursery@dpsrohini.com.
  • 2. For General Category Candidates:
    • Application forms will be available online between Friday, 29 November 2019 and Friday, 27 December 2019 till 3:00 P.M at www.dpsrohini.com.
    • The Application Form along with scanned copies of relevant documents and a non-refundable registration fee of INR 25/- should be submitted online latest by 3:30 P.M Friday, 27 December 2019.
    • Please keep the print of the Application Form received after filling the Application Form for future reference.
    • Please go through the instructions and FAQs (CLICK HERE) carefully before filling the Application Form.

    Special Needs
    • Special Needs students who apply in the 'General Category' may please note that the school caters to only Locomotor Disability and Low Vision.

    Kindly Note:

    • Due to a limited number of seats, it will not be possible to admit all those who apply. The application made here does not, in any way, entitle the candidate to be admitted to the school.
    • Separate application forms should be filled for twins/triplets.
    • Transport will be provided on existing routes only. Since limited transport facilities are available on specific routes, admission will not automatically ensure a seat in the school bus. Customized routes on school bus will not be entertained. Kindly ensure availability of transport facility before taking admission. Moreover there is no provision for using 2 different modes of transport in the morning and afternoon. Kindly note that Infant School bus routes are limited, and different from the Senior School bus routes.
    • It is the responsibility of the parent to clarify school transport related details before initiating the admission process. Request for change in bus route will not be entertained after admission.
    • List of short listed candidates will be put up online.
    • All relevant documents will be verified before the display of lists. The applicants shall produce the relevant documents in original at the time of verification along with a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies.
    • Please ensure that the Birth Certificate carries the name of the child as entered on the application form.
    • Kindly visit the school website regularly for any updates.

    Instructions for Filling up the Online form:

    1. This is an electronic Application Form for Delhi Public School, Rohini only. Please read the instructions carefully before filling in the form to avoid rejection of your form. All you need to do is to fill in the boxes with the required information.
    2. Please fill in each entry of the form. Write NA in columns which are not applicable to you.
    3. Do not press ENTER KEY to move from one field to another. Use `TAB KEY` or mouse control for the same.
    4. Please check all the details and spellings before submitting the page.
    5. Date of Birth to be filled in dd/mm/yyyy format only.
    6. To fill the column of distance from school, proceed in the following manner:
      • Step 1: Right Click on the red pin on the Google Map named Delhi Public School Rohini.
        Step 2: Select Measure Distance which is the last option on the Menu.
        Step 3: Move the map so that the black circle, or crosshairs, is on the next point i.e. the area of your residence.
        Step 4: At the bottom, you’ll see the total distance in miles (mi) or kilometers (km). Choose the kilometres value.
        Step 5: Optional: To remove the point you added, tap Undo.
    7. Before beginning the application process, please keep the following handy:

      • Residence Proof - (any one) - Ration Card /Smart Card issued in the name of parents (Mother/Father having name of the child), Domicile Certificate of child or of his/her parents, Voter Identity Card (EPIC) of any of the parents, Electricity Bill/ MTNL telephone bill/ Water bill/ Passport in the name of any of the parents or child, Aadhar Card / Unique Identity Card issued in the name of the parents.
      • Proof of Sibling(s) (ID Card of Sibling [2019-20])
      • Alumni Proof of Father and Mother (School Leaving Certificate/Marksjeet).
      • Single Parent proof (Death Certificate of deceased parent).
    9. Only JPEG format can be uploaded for scanned copy of photograph.
    10. Please note the maximum file size allowed for documents to be uploaded is 250 kb.
    11. Please avoid using special characters in the form & attachments(e.g. ~,!,`,%).
    12. Rupay card will not be accepted.
    13. After completing the Application Form, click on the `I Agree` button for online submission of non-refundable registration fee. The application shall be considered only after successful payment of non-refundable registration fee.
    14. Immediately after the payment, an application number will be generated and an acknowledgement e-mail containing the link of the preview of the submitted application form will reach your Email Id. An SMS will also be sent on the mobile number mentioned by you in the Application Form. You will not receive an e-mail if the transaction fails.You are advised to try again.
    15. In case of any discrepancy of any form, kindly write an E-mail to nursery@dpsrohini.com. Mails regarding this will not be entertained after 12 Noon Monday, 07 January 2020. Queries at any other E-mail Id will not be answered.
    16. Queries mailed to the email id will be responded to within 3 working days.
    17. No change will be entertained by the school after the submission of the form. Resubmission of a new form is possible, but notification regarding the same should be sent through mail at nursery@dpsrohini.com.
    18. Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system.

    Application Procedure At A Glance
