Dear Parents

Kindly note that RFID attendance system has started functioning. Testing period of messages is going on and it will take another 10 days to fully activate the application. Initially only the messages related to in/out will be received by the parents.

For Bus users:

• Boarding the bus
• Reached school
• Left from school
• Alighted from the bus

***Application for tracking the bus route will be activated shortly.

For Self/Taxi users:

• Reached school
• Left the school

Following are a few Do’s and Don’t’s for your reference:

Do’s

• Students are required to wear I-cards daily around their neck, over the shirt.                   
• It is mandatory for students to wear I-Cards specially when they enter/exit from the school gate and school building.
• Parents should advise their wards about the importance of the card, so that the child takes wearing the I-card seriously.

 

Don’t’s

• Make sure that the I-card is not under a jacket, inside one’s bag, in one’s pocket or handbag while walking through the SmartGates.
• Walk normally while entering/exiting the school building. There is no need to walk in a single line. The SmartGates at the door will record attendance — even if multiple people enter the building at the same time.
• I-cards are waterproof and unbreakable so they cannot be damaged until done purposely.
• Registered mobile number should not have DND so that the SMS is delivered to the parent.
• Parents cannot track the child’s movement from one classroom to another during the day.
• Parents should not carry student I-card for Open House. 

Parents should advise their wards that they should not take off the I-card from the neck.
