DRESS CODE

A
  Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions.
 

The school uniform should be worn whenever the student comes to school.

  Students who are untidily dressed or not in proper uniform will be sent back

home.

  All boys (except Sikhs) must wear their hair short . Girls must tie their hair neatly with black bands.
  Girls are allowed to wear only small ear tops or studs. No other Jewellery is permitted. No fancy hair clips/bands or jewellery is permitted. Only black clips / bands are allowed.
 
  Students are strictly prohibited from applying mehndi, nail polish or hair colour. Stringent action will be taken against defaulters.
  Boys should refrain from wearing coloured vests.
  The name, class & section of the child should be clearly marked on all the belongings of the students including shoes to avoid any misplacement of the belongings.

 

SCHOOL UNIFORM

The School Uniform is a discipline in itself and should be adhered to by all the students. The set pattern and colour should be correctly followed. All students are expected to wear the School Uniform as specified. Parents are expected to ensure that their wards are in proper uniform before leaving home. It is preferable to buy the uniform from the school uniform shop to ensure uniformity.

White straight regular trousers for classes IX-XII. Black hair band/ ribbon (as per requirement).
DPS Green belt with school emblem. White socks with green stripes.
White socks with bottle green stripes. Black shoes with green stripes (laces / velcro)

NOTE :

   For all students, the proper footwear in both summer and winter is black shoes with green stripes (laces/velcro). No shoes of any other colour or kind nor chappals or any other forms of high-heeled shoes are permissible. White sports shoes may be worn only for Games or PT. In winter, children who wear grey stockings should have them held up by elastic garters so that they do not sag around the ankles.

   The cut of the trousers should be straight. Fancy trousers like flares or bell bottoms or drain pipes etc. are not permitted.

   The use of the School Badge is compulsory for all.

  Girls must wear the right length of the skirt. The skirt must fall on/till the knees.

   All students from class II onwards must wear the house scarves as per colour code on the days of Assembly.

   As long as a student is on the School Rolls, he/she must be in uniform whenever he/she  comes to the school.
